CONFÉRENCE INTERNATIONALE SUR LE FLEUVE NYONG

For a long time, the Nyong River was taken for granted. Present in stories, fields and villages, it was part of everyday life, silently. However, as the years go by, reports are multiplying: the water level is falling, the banks are receding and fish are becoming scarce.

Today, the river is no longer just a natural backdrop. It has become a central issue for development, survival and collective memory.

Faced with this ecological emergency, riverside communities, researchers, NGOs and young people are taking action. CIFLEN is not just another conference: it was born out of the reality on the ground, out of a need to join forces to understand, decide and act.

Over the coming months, this News page will keep you informed about:

conference preparations,

calls for contributions,

profiles of committed stakeholders,

and true stories about the river and its guardians.

Because while the Nyong suffers in silence, we still have a voice. And together, we can revive the current of hope.
